Lately we noticed that the desire of Hong Kong families to emigrate has increased sharply, Today, with more than €800 million investment from its resident investors, the IIP is growing at a fast pace.
One key factor for its high success rate is that there is no cap on the annual applications. Investors are welcome to apply to the Immigrant Investor Programme at any time.
Ireland’s immigration investor program is flexible and fast-tracked. It typically takes six months for approval and Ireland does not require you to spend more than one day per year in the country to maintain your residency. In other words, you can obtain a foreign residency without relocating.
In addition, Ireland is the only English-speaking country in the European Union, which presents fewer language barriers for Hong Kong emigrants.

Only investments approved by the Evaluation Committee will qualify an investor for residency in Ireland. KAVCO Capital operates under the Enterprise Investment Option and has provided social housing units to many governments and AHBs in the past. Investments in social housing are eligible for IIP benefits.
The development of social /affordable housing is a key priority for the Irish government with a target to deliver over 138,000 additional social housing homes by the end of 2022.
The availability of appropriate development finance to support growth in this sector is recognised as a contributing factor. KAVCO takes a conservative approach to invest in this sector and will only commit funding when a local government or AHB contract is already in place to purchase or lease all of the properties constructed.
